Mares and Meadows' home is a 5 acre smallholding in the heart of Shropshire.

Natalie has grown cut flowers for years. Having filled every vase in her house and that of her family and friends, she decided to share her passion more widely, and Mares & Meadows was born...

ABOUT FLOWERS BY MARES & MEADOWS
We are passionate about cultivating a diverse array of flowers, sustainably. ​Our blooms are grown using regenerative farming techniques designed to restore biodiversity.
Each flower is nurtured, hand-picked and carefully conditioned to ensure it reaches you with the longest vase life. And, with few flower-miles, you get even longer to enjoy their wonderful shape, colour and scent.

We currently sell our flowers outside the farm, at Tibberton Village shop and at local events. We also deliver 'arrange your own' buckets, and work with highly skilled florists to supply beautiful bouquets, weddings, funerals and other events.

Our flower buckets are carefully curated and delivered within a 5-mile radius of our home in Ercall Heath. We serve areas such as Tibberton, Howle and Newport.
We take pride in being a local producer with a focus on sustainable practices and the sheer delight of flowers.
GROWN NATURALLY
Flowers by Mares and Meadows are grown without artificial chemicals or fertilisers.
In fact our flowers are powered by pony poo, generated from our mares grazing their species-rich meadows. It feeds our soils, its biology and our plants.

We also mix our flowers up within our beds. This makes it harder for pests to find them (though it's more work for us!).
​
There is also 200m of new hedgerow and we purposefully leave 'messy' areas for wildlife. Both of these are great habitats for wildlife and help establish that balance between production and nature.

Packaged and delivered
Our dedication to sustainability doesn't stop when we harvest our flowers.
We package our flowers in recycled and recyclable materials and deliver flowers using the sunshine (we've electric vehicles charged via our solar panels).
